Facial Asymmetry Correction for Facial Paralysis: Case Results

The patient above is 75 years old, whose facial asymmetry caused by a stroke was corrected using the YOUNGS LIFT thread. The photos show the patient before the procedure, immediately after, and 23 months after the procedure. The last photo was taken when the patient was seen again 23 months after the procedure. A retouch procedure was later performed for more precise, area-by-area correction. Patients can return to everyday life quickly after the procedure, with no concern about scarring or a long recovery.

The patient above is 70 years old. To correct facial asymmetry caused by a stroke, the patient had undergone two thigh- and back-muscle graft surgeries at a university hospital but gave them up due to pain and other issues, then received facial asymmetry correction using the YOUNGS LIFT thread. The photos show the patient before surgery and immediately after. A retouch procedure may be performed later for more precise, area-by-area correction. Patients can return to everyday life quickly after the procedure, with no concern about scarring or a long recovery.
